Relocating;

from arctic nature towards a museum

This project is an exploration of the architectural potential of arctic nature, in meeting with a second ground (site) and the program of a museum. It consists of six parts, from a journey towards a specific architecture;

Journey is my registrations made on the first ground, in the bare and naked arctic nature.

Constructs explore the journey in three dimensions.

Relocations gradually move the constructs to a new, urban ground at Tøyen, Oslo, neighboring the Botanical garden.

Architecture further challenge the relocations, through the introduction of the program museum.

Fixed and floating is a series of photography looking at specific meetings between the two.

Museum is the specific architecture, which aims to collect the investigations, gaining a balance between fixed and floating, the first and the second ground, and the program.
